8th April – Alem da Lemda – The name is a Uruguayan expression coming from the underground world of art used to describe any musical and artistical act that looks or sounds cool! Their style represents bridges among different musical influences and their set contains their own cheeky colourful tunes. ‘Our songs are mostly a mirror of our days and as days are not the same our songs just reflect human's life-adventures, love, pain, sex, greed, heartache, curiosity...etc. Oh yes, we all know the human curiosity lasts forever, but when our last day will be knocking on the door we gotta have all the answers-or-we'll stop questioning’. 11th April – Gypsy – A combination of heavy rock guitars and melodic vocals with a powerful hard hitting ryhthm section has given this band the accolade of "An all out Live Rock & Roll experience!" Influences range accross Skid Row, Queen, Metallica, Van Halen and Guns'n'Roses and their live show has been compared with the likes of Queen, Def Leppard & The Darkness. 6th April – AB Negative – Having toured the UK in 2005 as support band for Peter And The Test Tube Babies and The UK Subs which attracted excellent reviews for their live act this hard hitting punk rock 3 piece have recently agreed a deal for their music to appear on the soundtrack to a forthcoming American horror film also called AB–Negative. Now signed to Dead and Buried Promotions the guys return to the Snooty Fox for another blinding live set www.abnegative.co.uk
10th April – One Man Down – Four piece hardcore UK punk rock, harder than a double decker bus (well, the singer is anyway!) www.onemandown.tk. 15th April – Nex ‘occasional nods to System Of A Down and Faith No More here but in general this is a refreshing blast of originality; a jittery but cohesive splurge of chunky metal riffs, insistent vocal hooks and quirky melodic detours that manages to be accessible and extremely odd at the same time.
