Be on the lookout folks... once again, The Gatehouse on Tootal Street, former storage lockup for all the Music Collective's equipment, has been broken into and robbed. Last time this occured, they got away with my personal guitar equipment (more or less all of it) along with a load of Collective gear and other bands' equipment stored down there. This time they got away with The Music Collective's Marshal Bass Rig. Many of you will recognise it as you've played thru it either at The Snooty Fox or at Clarence Park. It's a 2U Rackmount-style 100w Marshal amp mounted in a wooden box, pvc covered. 2x handles on the front. Black face. Marshal logo on the front of the amp below the control knobs... also it's accompanying 1x18" Speaker Cab. The amp can be seen in THIS PHOTO on the righthand side of the stage behind the acoustic guitarist wearing pink sitting on top of the above mentioned cab, and in THIS PHOTO where you can see the amphead atop it's speaker cabinet just poking up on the righthand side of the drum riser. The Gatehouse has now been vacated, and ALL equipment removed. The Collective were expecting to have to abandon ship this December anyway due to the Waterfront renovations, so things have just gone ahead earlier than planned. Hopefully The Collective will find someway to replace this item as it provides part of the static backline which we use for ALL our events. Any info, contact marci@themusiccollective.co.uk
